Mission and Vision
Mission
Our mission is to deliver legal advisory of the highest technical quality with deeply human treatment. This duality — technical rigor and personal closeness — is not a marketing formula: it is the conviction that led us to found the firm in 2011 and the one that still organizes everything we do.
When a client comes to us, it is usually with a problem that affects their business, their assets, or their peace of mind in real terms. A vessel detained at the Canal. A corporate operation that requires careful structuring. An insurer denying a claim. A customs dispute that paralyzes a shipment. In each of these cases, what the client needs is not just legal knowledge; they need someone who understands their context, who listens carefully, and who acts with judgment.
For that reason, our mission is built on three concrete pillars:
Technical depth. Each of the firm's practice areas — maritime, corporate, customs, and insurance law — is led by professionals with specialized training and proven experience. We do not improvise. When we accept a case, we do so knowing we have the knowledge, the institutional relationships, and the resources to carry it forward.
Personalized attention. We know that no two cases are identical. That is why we dedicate time to deeply understanding the operational, commercial, and human context of each client. We do not apply templates: we build solutions tailored to the actual problem.
Loyalty and transparency. The client must know, at every moment, where their case stands, what risks they face, and what decisions they need to make. We do not hide uncomfortable information. We do not promise results we cannot guarantee. We would rather lose a case through an honest conversation than win one through poorly managed expectations.
These three pillars are not institutional rhetoric. They are the way we choose to work every day, on every call, in every document, at every hearing.
Vision
Our vision is to consolidate ourselves as one of the reference law firms in Panama for maritime, corporate, customs, and insurance matters — without losing along the way what defines us: close client service, rigorous judgment, and loyalty to the client.
Panama is one of the most important logistics and financial hubs in the hemisphere. This means that every year more international companies come to operate in the country, and with them come new legal challenges that demand attorneys capable of thinking in global terms without losing command of local regulations. Our vision is to be among those attorneys.
To achieve this, we work in three simultaneous directions:
Deep specialization. We do not want to be a generalist firm. We want to be the firm clients turn to when the case is complex and the answer requires real expertise in a specific subject. That is why we continue training our team, building alliances with technical experts, and maintaining active presence in the professional associations that set the standard in our sector.
International expansion. Maritime law, by its very nature, does not respect borders. Neither does modern corporate advisory. Our vision includes continuing to expand our network of professional relationships across other continents — especially with peer firms in Asia, Europe, and North America — so that we can serve international clients with the same fluency with which we serve local ones.
Sustained excellence in service. Growth cannot compromise quality. Every new addition to the team is made with the conviction that the person will share our way of working. Every new client receives the same level of attention as the first one received. This is perhaps the most difficult part of the vision: growing without diluting.
The sustained growth of investment in Panama drives us to prepare for new challenges with teams committed to efficient and excellent service. We know where we want to go. And we know, too, that the path to get there runs through continuing to be, every day, the same firm that was founded in 2011: close, rigorous, and loyal.
