Ramón Justavino Peralta

An attorney who graduated from the Faculty of Law and Political Science of the University of Panama, with extensive experience in civil, commercial, and administrative litigation. His practice focuses on enforcement and insolvency proceedings —both commercial and civil—, bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings (commercial and personal), as well as ordinary, summary, and non-contentious proceedings.

He began his career in Panama's Judicial Branch, where he held various positions in the First Judicial Circuit, including Judge's Assistant at the Fourth Civil Circuit Court, Executing Bailiff and Judicial Secretary at the Sixth Civil Circuit Court, and Chief Clerk at the Third Municipal Civil Court. This background gives him a deep understanding of how the courts operate and of procedural matters.

He has practiced independently since 2003. He has served as Receiver/Liquidator in bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings, as Counsel for Absent Parties appointed by the Fourth Chamber for General Matters of the Supreme Court of Justice and by various circuit and municipal courts, and as a court-appointed Expert for the Civil Circuit Courts of Panama.

His practice includes enforcement proceedings (simple, mortgage, pledge, and financial-lease actions), interim relief such as attachments and the suspension of shareholder acts or resolutions, challenges to shareholders' meeting resolutions, the incorporation of companies, and the drafting of legal documents and civil and commercial contracts.
